PCE placement Cell(UDISHA)

The Placement Cell (UDISHA)at Prakash College of Education was established in 2010 as part of a state-wide initiative by the Knowledge Consortium of Gujarat (KCG) under the Commissionerate of Higher Education, Government of Gujarat. The primary objective of the cell is to bridge the gap between employers and aspiring educators by supporting the professional development of teacher trainees.

Objective:

To empower trainees with relevant employability skills, facilitate career opportunities, and prepare them for successful entry into the education sector.

Activities Conducted by the Cell:

↪ Dissemination of career information and employment opportunities
↪ Organization of on-campus placement programs
↪ Motivational lectures by industry experts and alumni
↪ Training sessions on interview etiquette and professional behavior
↪ Workshops on CV writing and personal branding
↪ Orientation for competitive exams such as TET, TAT, HTAT, etc.
↪ Guidance on using educational and exam-related reference materials- General knowledge sessions to enhance awareness
↪ Soft skills and personality development programs

Future Plans:

The cell aims to intensify its efforts by regularly conducting placement drives, interactive workshops, and expert-led sessions focusing on employability skills, interview readiness, and overall personality development, ensuring that every trainee is professionally equipped for future challenges.
